Born in New York City, Flood was raised in Santa Monica, California and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley. After a handful of television appearances and numerous stage roles, actress Susannah Flood made her debut as a series regular on the Shonda Rhimes-produced legal drama "For the People" (ABC, 2018- ).
